"No need to apologize" Rixon said smiling down at her. "I like different, much better then being normal don't you think?" He said chuckling a bit.

She immediatly blushed, afraid to grab his arm. She hesitantly reached over scared that if she touched him he would fall under her spell. Her arm brushed his and she winced afraid she would feel the connection...but she didn't, that's odd she thought.

Carina nodded. "Yes, I agree," she said, continuing to look down. I've always had bad luck with guys. He probably thinks I'm an idiot--oh, wait, he can hear me.... she thought.

Thomas smiled. Once they reached the coffee shop, he opened the door for her. "Ladies first," he said politely, letting her walk in before following.

Rixon chuckeled again hearing her thoughts. "I think you're doing exceptionally well If I say so myself" he said. He placed his hand under her chin bringing her eyes to meet his.

Wren smiled blushing a bit more when he held the door open for her, "What a gentlement" Wren said. She glanced around the coffee shop and immediatly saw people staring. She cleared her throat nervously.

Carina bit her lip and nodded. "Yeah...well, thanks." she said quietly, wondering why he was flirting with her after they just met.

Thomas noticed people staring at her. He smiled reassuringly at her, though. "What would you like to drink?" he asked, as he pulled out a chair for her.

Rixon grinned at her "No problem." "Oh wow, how rude of me I never introduced myself, I am Rixon" he said rolling his eyes at himself feeling like an idiot.

"Umm, I'm not a big coffe drinker" she said biting her lip "How about a green tea" she said smiling up at him, it was sweet of him to order for her.

Carina smiled, giggling. "You already told me," she said softly. "But nice to know again; your name is nice."

Thomas nodded. "Okay, that'll work," he said. "Maybe I'll get one too," he said, before getting up, saying, "I'll be right back," and then walking over to the counter.

Rixon gritted his teeth a bit feeling like an idiot, he was great around girls why was he all of a sudden nervous around Carina. "Wow, I'm an idiot, please feel free to ignore me" he said laughing a bit at his stupidity.

Wren grabbed a seat at a small table near the window. She soaked up the sun flittering in through a window. She hadn't been out in public for so long, she began to miss it, and something about Thomas was helping her realize that.

Carina shook her head. "You aren't an idiot," she reassured him with a smile. "Don't put yourself down."

Thomas came back once their tea was ready, handing Wren her cup. "Here you go," he said with a smile before sitting down. "So..."

"How can you be so sure, you only just met me" he said grinning a bit a twinkle of pleasure behind his eyes as she told him he wasn't an idiot.

"So..." Wren said nervously sipping her tea "I haven't been into the real world...since who knows when, everything is so..." she said trailing off glancing around the room.

Carina smiled. "I know. I can tell. You seem like an intelligent, sophisticated person. I can see it in your eyes." she said.

"So what?" Thomas asked. "Different?" he asked  before sipping his tea.

Rixon grinned, "Thanks, but uh..." he said trailing off "shouldn't I be the one giving the beautiful lady complments?" he laughed playfully "Why don't we get out of here and get some dinner or something" he said


"Mmmhm" she said softly looking outside one of the windows. She sighed, tucking a piece of brown hair behind her ear, she glanced around and some males were still staring at her but she tried to ignore it. "What about you, when was the last time you were here?"

Carina nodded, blushing. "Um, okay, that sounds nice. Where would you like to go?" she asked.

Thomas shrugged. "Well, for this particular building I come here every now and then when I need to chill. But I like going to the park more often."

"Ladies choice" he said grabbing her hand pulling her through the throngs of people towards the door. They burst out into the cold night and he started walking with her down the street.
 
"The park..." Wren said both excited and shyly, "I've never been to the park before" she said blushing a bit, she heard from a few of the other sirens they would take there victims or aka boyfriends to the park.

Carina looked around. "I don't go out...here much. I don't know where we should go, it's all so exciting!" she said with a small smile.

Thomas nodded. "Okay," he said with a smile. "You'll love it. There's lots of nature, trees, picnic tables, and a lake. Very relaxing." he said.

"Hmmm, I think I know a place" he said grinning at her. He kept ahold of her had as he led her down the street towards a diner where the food, even if it was a salad, he could swear had some type of greese on it.

Wren smiled biting her lip as she took a sip of her warm green tea. "Nature is always relaxing, I really do love it" she says moving a stray piece of hair from her face.

Carina looked up at the sign. "A diner? Like the ones in those old movies with the jukeboxes and sodas and stuff?" she asked with a small smile. She had never seen one in person; all the restaurants in Mystique were quite boring from what she knew.

Thomas smiled. "So do I. You know, that's one thing that we have in common," he noted before sipping his tea as well.

"Exactly" he said a slight smile creeping up his face as he watched hers brighten. He opened the door and led her into a booth that had red vinyl seats and was near a wall with a ton of records stapled on it. "I love it here" he said smiling taking a big sniff of the air chuckling.

Wren smiled, her face flushing a bit for no apparent reason, being around Thomas mader her so...so comfortable and she missed that feeling. Wren sipped her tea, "So um...warlock, what is that exactly entitled to, I mean what can you do...but if you don't want to tell me that's okay too" she said flushing slightly.

Carina nodded. "I can see why. Cooler than the snooty restaraunts back home, eh?" she asked with a smile that was slightly brighter than her previous shy smiles.

Thomas smiled. "It's okay. Well, I can controll small spells. But you know that protective barrier around the city, that especially goes into effect during the night? My powers control that, and I can create shields too," he said softly before sipping his tea.

"Exactly again" she said smiling at her chuckling a bit, he couldn't help but want to smile when she did, her cheeks so cute and rosey, her teeth so white and perfect. He glanced over the menu, his mouth watering.

"Wow" she said her eyes brightening, "That's really facinating, I mean, sorry to like be wierd or anything but I think that's really awesome, compared to my powers I mean that is intense...and Wow I should really stop talking" she said laughing feeling like an idiot.

Carina nodded. "Agreed," she said, before looking down at her menu as she asked, "So, are you one of the jocks at school? I see you at a lot of pep rallies."

Thomas shook his head. "No, you're fine. I talk a lot too, trust me," he said with a chuckle, as he noticed her eyes lighting up. He thought her eyes were very pretty.
