Rixon grinned, "Why yes, yes I am" he said glancing over at her atop of his menu. "I can never turn down a good game" he said smiling "...and my strength and speed help a bit" he said.

Wren bit her lip holding back a light laugh...wow she can't remember the last time she really laughed this much either. "Trust me, once I get talking I barely shut up, so if that ever happens against don't be afraid to smack me" she said.

Carina smiled, nodding. "Interesting," she said with a smile. "I'm not into sports much. I like the arts more; I like writing and painting," she said.

Thomas shook his head. "Smack you? No way. I always believed that a gentleman should never hit a lady. I'll just tell you you're talking to much. But trust me--I am  the one that talks too much," he said with a chuckle.

"I've never been much of a painter, but people think I have a good voice" he said smiling trying to keep the conversation going as he ordered a shake and a burger.


Wren couldn't help but smile, her face flushing so much she had to look down at her lap. "Nope, trust me" she said finally looking back up "If there was a talking contest between us, I would win"

Carina nodded, ordering a shake and fries when the waitress took their orders. She then looked at him, smiling. "Really? I didn't know you could sing. Do you like to?" she asked.

Thomas smirked, shaking his head with a small laugh as he said, "Nah, I think it'd be a tie," he said.

"Uhmmm" he said trailing off a bit "Not really, I don't think I'm that good" he said starting to feel a bit shy for some reason he didn't know why.

"Fine" said Wren smiling up at him, a small laugh escapeing her. She couldn't help but smile at Thomas, he was so adorable.

Carina shook her head. "Don't say that," she said, looking into his eyes. "Your voice is already so angelic when you speak.  I bet it's magnificent when you sing," she added softly, blushing.

Thomas smiled. "Yay, we have a truce!" he said, smiling before taking one last sip of his tea. "That was relaxing. Do you want to go to the park after you finish your tea?"

Rixon couldn't help but feel the corners of his mouth turn up as a small flush flooded over his neck. "Wow, um thanks that means alot" he said smiling at her cute pink face.

"Mmmmhm!" she said excitedly gulping down the rest of her tea before he could get another word out. He grabbed his hand literally pulling him out of his seat. "Lets go!" she said.

Carina smiled softly. "You're welcome." she said quietly, looking at him with innocent eyes. "Um, well, so...do you play any instruments?" she asked.

Thomas smiled, grinning. "Okay." he said, opening the door for her and letting her walk out first.

"I play a little guitar, but uhm I'm really not to great at that either" he said digging in to one of his french fries. He tried to avoid looking in her cute eyes, he couldn't help himself is he did.

They were halfway down the street when Wren finally realized they were still holding hands, this was wierd, Wren never touched people, she barely even talked to them for that matter. A small blush spread over her face as they continued walking.

Carina nodded. "Okay," she said, smirking lightly. She had a feeling he only said he was bad because she could tell he was nervous.

Thomas chuckled when he saw her blush, but he was blushing himself. He had never held a girl's hand before...especially a girl that he liked.

"What about you, you must have a beautiful voice to go with that beautiful face of yours" he said winking at her playfully before, taking a bite of his fries, dipping them in ketchup.

Wren kept her fingers locked with Thomas's, she felt nervous but also completely relaxed at the same time. "So, what do you do other then cast spells on your free time" she said trying to make small talk. 

Carina shook her head, blushing. "People say I have a nice voice, but I don't believe them. And besides...I get nervous when I sing in front of people. Which is why I'm never in choir at school." she explained.

Thomas shrugged. "I like to write." he said. "I want to be an author one day." he said with a smile. "You?"

"Care to let me hear sometime" he said grinning at her, "Maybe I could play a few notes on my guitar, and you could sing? How does that sound?" he said popping another french fry in his mouth.

"No way!" she said excitedly, she mentally slapped herself in the face trying to calm herself down. "I absoloutly, posotively love reading, everything" she said smiling brightly at him.

Carina blushed, nodding. "Um, yeah. I guess that's okay later," she said quietly before grabbing a french fry and taking a small bite.

Thomas smiled. "That's so cool. If I ever published a book, would you read it?" he asked.

"Great, I'd really like that" he said sweetly, and a bit innocently as he dipped his last french fry into his shake. "Mmmhm" he said laughing "French fries are always better with chocolate milkshake" He accidently got some on the corner of his lips but he didn't notice.

"Of coarse" she said smiling "I'd love to read something of yours, sometime I mean if you'd like me too" she said blushing a bit as they walked. She kept making sideways glances at him.

Carina smiled, nodding. "Agreed," she said, doing the same. She then looked up at him, giggled softly and grabbed a napkin, handing it to him.

Thomas nodded. "Okay," he said with a smile. "I'd love it if you read my books. I like writing poetry mostly," he noted.

"Wow, how embaressing" he said chuckling as he wiped the ketchup from his cheek "Thanks, you're a life saver" he said smiling at her, "Maybe it's the horrible lighting in here but uh" he said clearing his throat "Your eyes are really pretty"

"Poetry" she said trailing off a bit sighing to herself, Thomas was perfect, "I'd love to hear some of that too, know anything off the top of your head" she said seeing the park come into view.

Carina smiled, blushing a little. "Thanks..." she said quietly, sipping her milkshake before saying. "Well, so do you."

"Um, I think I do. What poems do you like, long or short?" he asked.

"No problem" he said finishing of his fried, he motioned the waitress for the check. "Got any plans after this?" he said smiling at her.

"I mean, I really like everything" she said. As the sun began setting a chill began to fill the air, and Wren wasn't exactly dressed for the occassion in a summery dress.

Carina shook her head as she finished her milkshake. She then dantily wiped her mouth and said, "No. Why, did you want to take me somewhere else?" she asked with a shy smile.

Thomas smiled. "I think I can recite one you'll like." he said,looking over at her as he handed her his jacket and wrapped it around his arms, before he recited a poem about winter transitioning into spring.
