Chloe sat in the common room, talking with a fellow Gryffindor and waiting up for Phoebe, trying to keep the conversation quiet so that she could make sure no strange noises were coming from outside. Not that it made a difference, since the other noises in the room were far too loud to hear anything outside. She stood up once Phoebe made it in, immediately noticing how upset she looked, and turned her around to lead her back out of the common room, to the closest bathroom, and hexing the door to stay shut. "What's wrong?" She asked, hugging Phoebe. 

Phoebe buried her face into Chloe's shoulder. "He's gone. His father took him." she sobbed, shaking slightly. "He saved me and now he's going to die." She shook her head lightly, pulling away from the hug, wiping her eyes quickly. "It's all my fault."

Chloe bit her lip in thought, leaning back against the wall. Here it was. The chance she always wanted. To be a hero, like her parents. Helping Parkinson was never exactly what she imagined her first goal to be, but he didn't deserve to die. Where would he be, though? Where did the Parkinsons even live? She groaned, realizing what she would have to do. "Will you come with me to talk to Adam? He won't say anything to you with me around or I'll stun him. We just....one of the Slytherins must know where the Parkinsons live."

Phoebe nodded softly, wiping her eyes roughly on her robes. "See everything happens around me. Nathan's gone. You're not friends with Adam anymore. You still should be Chloe, by the way." She sighed lightly before turning, unhexing the door and walking out quickly, pushing a hand through her hair nervously.

"I don't want to be friends with Adam. I want to know where Nathan is." Chloe replied quietly, heading towards the Slytherin common room, unsure of how exactly they were going to get Adam out of it. She stood in front of it for a few minutes, waiting for a Slytherin to come out so that she could send him after Adam. She already knew how much this conversation was going to hurt her, but Nathan had saved Phoebe, so she had to swallow her pride and save him. When one finally came out, she quickly explained that she needed Adam, while twirling hair around her finger and using the most seductive voice she could muster. Needless to say, he went back in to get Adam. 

Adam sighed when the other Slytherin came up to him, telling him that Chloe wanted him. He shook his head softly, standing up, walking outside and finding her and Phoebe immediately. "Hello." He said quietly, pushing a hand through his hair. He smiled politely at Phoebe before looking down towards the floor.

"Hi" Chloe started awkwardly. "Sorry to bother you. We, um, we were wondering if you had any idea where the Parkinsons live? And if not, can you ask everyone in there if they know?" She said as politely as she could muster.  

Adam nodded softly. "I know where they live." he said. "Why do you need to know where he lives?" he asked, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Because he's in trouble because of us." Chloe explained shortly, handing him a small peice of parchment and a quill from her robe pocket for him to write Nathans address on. "Thank you"

Adam took the parchment, writing the address down and handing it back. "Can I help you in any way?" he asked softly, shoving his hands into his pockets.

Chloe glanced over at Phoebe, deciding if they needed anything else from him. "If anything happens to Lily, if she disappears or something, tell someone, okay? A professor, one of our parents, anything. Someone strong enough to deal with..." she glanced at Phoebe once more, hesitant. "Someone strong enough to deal with Death Eaters." She finished, forcing a small smile before turning to leave. "I really do appreciate this, Adam." She added over her shoulder.

Adam frowned slightly, "Chloe wait." He said, stepping towards her. "Are you sure you're going to be okay. I mean, Nathan's father is very, very powerful..." He said. "I'll look after Lily, but are you sure there isn't anything else I can do?" he pushed a hand through his hair nervously, watching her and Phoebe carefully.

Chloe's stomach flipped and she fought the urge to roll her eyes at it. "Helping us would ruin your reputation." She said, trying her best not to sound rude after he'd just helped them. "Just make sure Lily stays safe. And if I don't come back, leave Phoebe alone." She added, looping her arm through Phoebe's and pulling her away before she lost control of the tears she was holding back. 

Adam frowned. "Chloe..." He said, watching as they walked away, cursing himself under his breath before walking back into the common room.

Phoebe frowned as she watched the tears fall down Chloe's cheeks. "Chloe. He obviously cares about you, why can't you give him a second chance?" she asked softly.

Chloe hated crying in front of people. Even family. She wiped her tears quickly, willing them to stop. "I don't have time to worry about whatever is going on between Adam and I. Besides, I told you before, I don't want to associate with a bully." She explained simply, walking slowly towards the entrance of the school. If they got caught sneaking out, Nathan would die long before they got there.

Phoebe sighed softly, shaking her head. "He's not a bully." she stated. "But whatever." she looked around quickly when they got to the front entrance. The coast was clear. She bit her lip, nervous. She walked out quickly, staying to the sides so no one would see them.

Chloe followed Phoebe quietly, until she cursed under her breath. "Phoebe, go on outside, we need brooms. I'll get them." She whispered, hurrying off to the common room.

Phoebe nodded lightly, watching Chloe go, walking down to the gate quickly, enchanting the lock so it opened and stepping outside. She wrapped her arms around herself, turning to face the school so she could see when Chloe came.

Chloe grabbed the brooms and a few other things to stuff into her enchanted bag, and hurried back out to Phoebe, barely even thinking about getting caught this time. Once she made it back, she handed Phoebe her broom. "Watch out. They could be keeping watch on the school or something." She said quickly, surveying the sky before kicking off the ground.

Phoebe nodded softly, mounting her broom, kicking off and heading after Chloe. She looked around the skies nervously, looking for any sign of the Death Eaters.
