Nathan shook his head. "The only person he hates more than you guys right now is me. I could go out there, but I have a feeling after you two rescued Phoebe she would just make you come back to help me anyways. So it really would be useless."

Lily nodded softly, leaning against the wall, her eyebrows furrowing together. "Then what can we do?" she asked, her eyes full of worry. I mean sure, her and Phoebe weren't amazingly close, but she loved her all the same.

Chloe looked around the bathroom "We can't apparate anywhere because they'll hear the pop. We're stuck" she said, pointing out the obvious.

Lily groaned, pushing her hands through her hair in frustration. "We need to get her back though." she stated firmly. "I'll go out there as a distraction if needed. We just need to get her back."

"You go out there, and there'll be two people for Chloe and I to save. That's only if they don't strike you dead as soon as you step outside, though." Nathan argued. "I want to get her back too. But not at the cost of another one of you."

Lily sighed softly, sliding down the wall to sit on the floor. "Then what are we going to do Nathan? Tell me that." she said, looking up at him with a frown. She shook her head softly, picking at her robes nervously.

Nathan looked at Chloe desperately. It didn't matter that he was supposed to be mad at her. They were in this together. He shrugged and also sat down. Chloe shook her head at how easily they gave up, and slowly opened the door to listen to what the men were saying. She almost gasped as she shut the door again. "They're waiting for us. This is all a trap." She said, running a stressed hand through her hair. "They're one step ahead of us."

Lily frowned at Chloe's words, groaning and shoving a hand through her hair. "Great." she muttered sarcastically, resting her head on her knees. "Just great." she shook her head, slowly standing back up, clenching her fists and shoving them in her pockets.

Nathan closed his eyes. He'd been included in Death Eater plans since he was born. There had to be some flaw. Some chance that their plan wouldn't succeed. There always was. He felt Chloe's hand slip into his, but let it slide. Truthfully, they all probably needed a little comforting right now. He gave hers a squeeze and sighed. "If one of you dies, the whole world will be so afraid of the DE that they'll cower down. If you live to tell this story, they'll be empowered. Maybe even enough to start another war. We've got to have bigger numbers on our side." He said, mostly talking himself through it. "So I'll go. My father will be so enfuriated that I've shown my traitorous face that he'll be too worried about me to pay attention to you. I'll get him outside. But you two have to get out of here with Phoebe. The room she's in has a fire place. Use floo powder." He said, letting go of Chloe's hand before she could protest, and apparating himself out of the closet and into the hallway.

Lily tried to make a grab for Nathan but failed, biting her lip and looking at Chloe. "He can't go." she whispered softly, hating the fact that he already had. He had said that Phoebe would want to come back for him if this happened. She just hoped that he'd be safe so they wouldn't have to come back to this place. She took hold of Chloe's hand nervously, opening the door a crack and looking out, leaving space for Chloe to as well.

Chloe stood on her toes to look out above Lily's head, heart beating too fast, pounding in her ears. She couldn't let Nathan die. Or Phoebe. She had to wait for him to save Phoebe, and then she would make sure Nathan was alright. Her parents would never leave a man behind.

Nathan stared his father straight in the eyes, his father shocked that he was alone. After disarming his father, he turned to run, determined to make it outside despite the many other Death Eaters in the house. Despite Voldemort being somewhere in the house. Somewhere? Where? In the room with Phoebe? Could he hurt the other two or was he just there to scare them? He couldn't think about that now. He had to make it outside before... his father threw hexes that Nathan dodged. Fourteen years of training him to battle probably seemed like a ba idea now because Nathan had no problem jumping over, under, and around the spells. Once he was outside, surrounded by Death Eaters who were taking his fathers orders, he figured there was only one thing left he could do. one thing to help keep the girls safe. It would make him an even bigger target for the others, and possibly, the hunt for the girls would calm down because they'd be too busy hunting Nathan. He turned to his father, the other DE standing back to watch the stand off. Their wands were pointed at each other but nothing was said for a long time. "You're not strong enough to hurt me, Nathan. You were never strong enough. Just a stupid little boy who...."

He was cut off as Nathan screamed Avada Kedavra. His father fell to the ground and tears immediately streamed down Nathans face as he fought the urge to go to his fathers body. It took him a moment to realize he should get out of there. He apparated back upstairs, most of the DE headed downstairs now to see the commotion, and threw the door to the room open. "Are you ready?" He asked the girls, ready to escape this nightmare.

Lily nodded, so glad that Nathan was okay. She bit her gently, pulling her wand out of her pocket and looking up at Nathan nervously. Her hand was still clutching Chloe's, and she dropped it quickly, making sure that her hand was free so she could get her wand out too. She didn't realise she was shaking slightly.

Phoebe was slumped in the corner of the room struggling to keep her eyes open, confused as to why most of the DE had disappeared from the room, but too in pain to care.

Lily ran with Chloe, her wand clutched tightly in her hand as they burst through the door. "Which way?" she hissed softly, biting her lip as they ran, her grip tight on Chloe's hand.

Chloe turned to look at Nathan, who gave her a desperate shrug. "The front door is the only way we're getting out of here." He admitted. "There's no way they're just going to let us walk away." Chloe added, stating the obvious once again. "Not alone" Nathan whispered, smiling when he got an idea. He sat Phoebe against the wall and ran upstairs to get the resurection stone, undoing all the curses he had put around it himself, then back to the girls, handing it to Chloe and opening the door before picking up Phoebe again. "You hex and we destroy it." He warned, pointing his wand at the stone in Chloe's hand. The DE all looked at each other. Nathan realized they could easily kill all four of them at once. He was just hoping they were too distraught by the death of their leader, his father, to figure that out. Thankfully, he was apparently right. They all dropped their wands to the ground and Nathan motioned for the girls to go ahead, walking backwards to make sure no one was going for their wands with the girls' backs turned.

Lily walked forwards nervously, her wand still clutched in her hand, ready to hex if she heard a disturbance behind her. She bit her lip gently as she walked, glancing towards Chloe quickly shooting her a small smile. She knew Chloe would probably be the happiest to have Phoebe back, seeing as though they were the closest, at least. That's what she thought...

Once they were quite a ways away, surrounded by nothing but field, and Nathan could no longer see the Death Eaters, he had to take a break to figure out their next move. Not to mention he hadn't gotten time to mourn the death he'd caused himself. He laid Phoebe gently on the grassy ground and walked ahead to get time alone. "Try to get her up and walking, or I can't apparate with her." He said simply.

Chloe watched Nathan go off, desperate to help him. Or atleast know what was wrong. She was probably the last person Phoebe wanted to see when she came to her senses, but she couldn't just leave her after going through all of that to save her life. So she sat in the grass beside her. "Phoebs, I know your hurt, but we need you to be able to stand on your own. And hold things tightly so that we can get out of here." She said softly, taking her hand.

Phoebe blinked softly as she looked up at Chloe, her hand closing softly around hers, her other hand resting in the grass as she tried, wincing as she did, to push herself up at least into a sitting position. She struggled for a few minutes before managing it, holding herself up. "I'm sorry I ran." she managed to mutter. "It was stupid."
